One lucky raffle winner to receive a new Home

The Springfield Area Home Builders Association (SAHBA) is at it again—coordinating a community event called the Raffle House to raise support for the local builder organization along with four charities: March of Dimes, Ronald McDonald House Charities, the Springfield Parks Foundation, and Hoogland Center for the Arts. These partnering organizations were chosen for their outstanding contributions to the community, and one of this event’s primary goals is to support these organizations so they can continue to make the community an even better place to live.

The raffle itself begins on May 1, 2010 and runs through September 1, 2010. Each ticket will cost one hundred dollars, and only four thousand will be sold in order to increase the odds for each participant. The grand prize winner will have the choice between a brand new Springfield home valued at $250,000 or a $150,000 cash prize. With $33,000 in other cash prizes offered, there will be plenty of other happy winners as well. Each ticket has a 1:80 chance of winning a prize, so tickets are expected to sell fast.

For those interested in participating in the raffle, tickets can be purchased at the SAHBA office on Pintail Drive, or at the locations of the four charities from May 1, 2010 to September 1, 2010. The Grand Prize Drawing will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2010.
